The Properties pane displays different information about layouts and trusses.
Roof planes, ceiling planes, overhangs, heel height, etc. are properties of a wall.
You can define settings for these properties using the Settings dialog before you create walls. You can also edit these properties after walls are created, using the Properties window.
When you select a wall in Layout, the Properties pane displays information about the wall.
A drop down list of choices displays and you can change the property setting.
You can also specify a web with a brace and the brace type in the Properties panel. If the selected option violates rules set up in the Env Data file, the application reverts to the default option, or CLR bracing.
- You can define wall colors on the Properties Pane. Colored walls will print in color, too, if a color printer is used.
